This course is designed as an introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI), a subfield of Computer Sciences that provides students the basic knowledge to create intelligence inside a computer program. In this fundamental course, students also study about Machine Learning, Deep Learning and how these concepts change the world of AI recently.
1. Students will understand and critically apply the basic techniques and methods of AI, including data collection, data preprocessing, model selection and performance evaluation.
2. Students have a chance to work in AI group projects, which apply modern Machine Learning or Deep Learning models in order to solve real-life problems. This helps the students not only strengthen their fundamental knowledge, but also develop their critical thinking and group working skills.
